Lightweight and balanced, the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer reinvents this beauty basic, putting a digital motor in the handle to produce a controlled, high-velocity airflow for ultra-fast drying power. A microprocessor with intelligent heat control helps prevent extreme heat damage, while the magnetic attachments let you smooth, style, and diffuse with ease.

The Supersonic features an ionizer that helps reduce static through negative ions. When the air exits the machine, additional air is captured from the sides and the back, multiplying the air that was drawn in at the base three times.

With this bundle, you’ll receive five attachments — the styling concentrator for precision styling, the diffuser to help temporarily reduce frizz and create defined curls and waves, the gentle air attachment to diffuse the air and create a cooler airflow, the flyaway attachment that hides flyaways under longer hair for a smooth look and shiny finish (for use on dry and straight or straightened hair), and a wide-tooth comb that helps shape and lengthen curly and textured hair as it dries.

How do I use it: Start at the lowest speed and heat setting and always use one of the attachments. Aim the dryer so the airflow is going down the strand of hair. Use high speed for fast drying and styling, medium for regular drying, and low for diffusing. Use high heat for fast drying and styling, medium for regular drying, low for cooler drying and diffusing, and a cold shot for constant cold to set your hair after styling.

For fine textured hair, use low speed and low heat setting.

For curly hair, use the diffuser with low heat, low speed setting. Gently place curls in the diffuser and lift.

For thick/coarse hair, use medium speed and medium heat.
